When you think of Idaho agriculture, wild rice is not exactly top of mind. But Northern Latitude Foods is out to change that. Idaho wild rice is unique with a longer, fatter grain that has an incredible depth of flavor. We wild-harvest the rice, a method similar to foraging that collects just a portion of the grain produced by the plants. Allowing the wild rice to naturally reproduce without ever needing to be seeded, fertilized, or otherwise managed, further strengthening the ecosystem in which it thrives.
